PCGamesN Friday, April 21, 2023 11:41 AM Want to know about the Genshin Impact Kirara banner release date? Kirara is the only confirmed character coming to the Genshin Impact 3.7 update, but there's a good chance a second surprise character could be on the horizon. Kirara is the first cat-girl to appear on the Genshin Impact roster, but most importantly, she's a four-star sword-wielding Dendro character. Judging by her leaked abilities, Kirara should work well as a support character, providing shields to her fellow party members. That being said, there are a lot of Dendro supports right now, so we'll have to see where Kirara ends up on our Genshin Impact tier list in the free PC game. PCGamesN Friday, April 21, 2023 11:21 AM Want to find out more about the Dead Island 2 map? Dambuster's follow up to Techland's 2011 original Dead Island takes place across western LA, starting in Bel-Air and winding up on the Santa Monica coast. Unlike the first game, there are no vehicles, but the game covers a fair distance as you explore on foot. Dead Island 2 is a semi-open world game, so you can explore the world around you - within confined limits - at will. The map, sadly, doesn't reflect this very well as it's not the easiest to navigate, and you can only set waypoints to specific locations. Using your map, you can locate traders to buy Dead Island 2 fuses, set waypoints to workbenches to mod your weapons with blueprints and perks, and even track down certain Dead Island 2 zombies. For everything you need to know about the Dead Island 2 map, including its size, locations, and how to use Alexa Game Control to get around, read on. Whether you're looking to hunt the Mesozoic monsters or want to stomp and chomp humans while playing as them, the appeal of dinosaurs in gaming is endless. What is not endless, however, is the number of dino games that successfully realise that fantasy. Let's be honest: until recently, fans of dinosaurs and big guns haven't exactly walked the primrose path. It's been a long hard road, marked by velociraptors that look like lumpy dogs, rifles that feel as satisfying as lobbing a bullet by hand, and jeeps that seem to magnetically roll themselves into a nearby ditch, no matter what keys you press. There are six Dead Island 2 slayers, with each playable character boasting their own skills and stats. The sixth to be announced was Bruno, a down-to-earth hustler, ready to get his hands dirty and do what needs to be done to survive. PCGamesN Friday, April 21, 2023 7:25 AM Looking for the Dead Island 2 Curtis Sinclair safe key location? This is the first example of a mechanic that you'll find throughout your time in HELL-A. Curtis' side quest, 'The Death of the Party' may take place in the first couple of hours of Dead Island 2, but you actually need to return to his mansion later on to find this key. Dead Island 2 has a main questline, but it's nowhere near what we'd call a linear game. If you've been exploring Hell-A for any length of time, there's a good chance that you've already stumbled upon a fuse box or two. Dead Island 2 fuses grant you access to rare blueprints and perks that can make all the difference when going up against fearsome Dead Island 2 bosses. Better than that though, some of the best weapons are enclosed in Zomproof Slayer Hoards within, so you can see why you might want to replace that fuse. In fact, they're so important that they make an appearance in our Dead Island 2 tips guide – so if you're already waist-deep in undead guts, it might be best to take the time to revisit those fuse boxes. Siliconera Friday, April 21, 2023 7:00 AM Horror manga has long been a beloved genre among manga fans, offering spine-chilling tales that push the limits of imagination and explore the darkest aspects of human nature. From supernatural creatures to psychological horror, there are countless horror manga series that have left readers with a sense of unease long after they've turned the final page. Here we'll be exploring the some horror manga that could be among the best at scaring people, delving into their terrifying themes and why they've become staples of the genre. Whether you're a horror fan or a newcomer to the genre, these series are guaranteed to send a chill down your spine. The Drifting Classroom by Kazuo UmezuTo start the guide, we must mention one of the classics. Published in 1972, Kazuo Umezu's The Drifting Classroom follows the story of a group of students when their school is transported to a post-apocalyptic future. The situation puts the children to the test as they have to face not only terrifying creatures, but the madness that constantly stalks them. Viz Media has the publishing rights in English. Fuan no Tane (Seed of Anxiety) by Masaaki NakayamaIf you're a fan of Japanese folklore and supernatural portrayals, you have to check this manga out. This is a collection of short horror stories spanning around 2-3 pages each that exploits each frame to its fullest with almost no need for words. What's more unnerving is that any of these tales could happen to anyone. Parasyte by Hitoshi IwaakiThanks to technological advances humans no longer have to worry about predators, but what if something new appeared on top of the food chain? That's the question that Hitoshi Iwaaki tries to answer in this classic manga. Amidst a gory invasion of an alien parasite, a boy who accidentally fused with one of them is now the only restraint between mankind and its total extinction. You can find Parasyte in English published by Kodansha USA. Hideout by Masasumi KakizakiMasasumi Kakizaki begins with an already gruesome scenario, a man tries to end his wife's life during a vacation trip, but things get worse when the real threat looms over both of them in the middle of the forest. In a single volume, this story presents that humans can be far more horrible than any otherworldly creature. Shiki by Fuyumi OnoWhen a family moves to an old mansion in a remote mountain village and an epidemic starts causing bizarre deaths almost at the same time, a few of the villagers start investigating what's actually going on. What at first appears to be a cliché horror setting slowly builds up to be a memorable journey full of unexpected twists and spine-chilling moments. Blood on the Tracks by Shuzo OshimiAku no Hana's acclaimed author, Shuzo Oshimi, presents in this manga a psychological horror story that will keep you on the edge of your set the whole time. Seiichi has always known that his mother can be very attentive, but after a hiking trip where his cousin ends up in a coma, he learns that the biggest threat may come from what he always believed to be motherly love. Kodansha USA also publishes Blood on the Tracks in English. PTSD Radio by Masaaki NakayamaThis collection of apparently unconnected ghost stories excels at presenting blood-curling scenes based on Japanese imagery, although, what has most caught the attention of many are the circumstances surrounding this horror manga in real life. The author had to go on a hiatus after a series of strange events similar to those we wrote almost put his own life at risk, these happenings were also featured in the manga's last issue. Published in English by Kodansha. Uzumaki by Junji ItoNo horror manga guide is complete with Junji Ito. The godfather of Japanese horror is a master of storytelling that leans heavily on the fear of the unknown and inconceivable. It is hard to choose just one of his works, but Uzumaki may just be the one that features everything he is now so known for, a must-read for every horror fan. Published in English by Viz Media. PC Invasion - FeedDDD Friday, April 21, 2023 11:25 AM It's not every day we see a game that's fallen through development hell for nearly a decade finally come out. And in those rare cases, the end product is almost always a strange mishmash of ideas. Dead Island 2 manages to navigate this with a surprisingly high amount of quality all things considered. Everything that made the first Dead Island special is here for the most part. But beyond that, Dead Island 2 struggles to leave a lasting mark on the zombie genre, which I'll get into throughout this review. There's a big problem with most zombie games that we've seen over the last 15 years or so. For the most part, they all feel like the same kind of experience. Dead Island 2 has all the traits that befit a zombie game as you know it. All the while desperately struggling to say or do anything remotely unique. In some ways, this is a breath of fresh air for those that may want a simpler experience. But to me, it's a game that's staler than the rott... |
