Upgrade Windows 10 as deadline passes and Microsoft forces update

Microsoft yesterday rolled out the final update for users still using Windows 10 version 21H2. As the tech giant shut down support on June 13, that version will no longer receive any security fixes or improvements. If you're one of the few still using 21H2, you might want to consider updating to version 22H2 as soon as you can, otherwise Microsoft will do it for you. No ifs, no buts.

Diablo 4 runes and runewords explained

What are Diablo 4 runes and runewords? The feature is one Diablo fans will recognize, the idea being that you could combine individual runes into runewords and insert them into socketed items, adding to their powers and abilities. But with no runes in Diablo 4 just yet, we - like you - are eager to know whether they're coming, so we asked the devs, of course.

We know that D2's beloved runeword system was not available in Diablo 4 at launch, and won't be for some time - but that doesn't mean they're not making their way to the game in the future. Whichever of the five Diablo 4 classes you choose, runes would be combined and added to your items, just like gems, to increase their abilities. So what do we know about Diablo 4 runes, runewords, and when they're coming to the game?

Destiny 2 Nightfall weapons – What is the Nightfall weapon this week?

Want to know what this week's Destiny 2 Nightfall weapon is? Each week you've got a chance at a different weapon for completing Nightfall Strikes, and ever since Season of the Lost, fan-favourite legacy weapons from the original Destiny has been added to the rotation. New seasons often introduce new weapons into the rotation, so it's more important than ever to know in advance the Nightfall weapon schedule.

Nightfall: The Ordeal is a playlist available in the Vanguard menu, alongside the basic Strike playlist in the free PC game. Each week, a different Strike is chosen as the Nightfall, and offered in five escalating difficulties, with harder enemies, challenging modifiers, and enemy power levels cranking up. The coveted Nightfall weapons have a chance to drop from any Nightfall Strike difficulty, but it's far more likely at higher levels. Your best bet for farming each week's Nightfall weapon is to set the Strike to Grandmaster difficulty when such strikes are available if you have a fireteam up to the task.

     Best Diablo 4 Sorcerer build

What is the best Diablo 4 Sorcerer build? The last mainline iteration of the series saw the Sorcerer excel as an angry ball of lightning, crashing through rifts with nary a thought as to how they'd escape a situation should their mana bleed dry. The best Diablo 4 sorcerer build recognizes that historic power, channeling it into something new yet entirely familiar. If you're hoping to ignore the class's traditionally low durability and dive straight into countless life-or-death situations, you'd best make sure every single talent point is in the right place.

There are so many different ways to create versions of our D4 Sorcerer build, but we recommend settling into our character specification to take any guesswork out of the equation. And to make subsequent Diablo 4 playthroughs easier, we have the best Diablo 4 Druid, Barbarian, Necromancer, and Rogue builds as well. If you're playing on hardcore mode with a party, toss the wise words over to your companions to reduce the chance of losing your characters to a bad talent choice.

What are Starfield missions? Blasting off across the solar system is an exciting prospect, but you might be wondering what quests await you in the big black yonder. Well, rather a lot as it happens, and the Settled Systems are chock-full with all manner of missions and side quests to complete. Aside from the main story, you can become embroiled in large-scale political conflict, battle space pirates, or even make a friend. In fact, we've compiled a list of Starfield mission types just to make sense of it all.

Starfield missions take eager spacefarers on a grand exploration of over 1,000 planets. According to lead quest designer Will Shen, the space game's galactic scale and procedural generation necessitated a new approach to designing side quests, which often begin in "a dynamically placed settlement that takes you to a dynamically placed dungeon as you're walking through the planet." Here are the Starfield missions you can expect to sink your teeth into once the release date rolls around.

But I was also keen to find out whether they considered this a reboot for the series, or whether it had any connection to the Sands Of Time trilogy, and game director Mounir Radi was happy to oblige. For him and his team, it's first and foremost "a whole new chapter" in the series, although you could call it a prequel, if you really wanted to. Whatever you do, though, don't call it a reboot. LA is an amazing, if tremendously grey place. Everywhere you go, there are grey skyscrapers touching the clouds, so they all look like the concrete's puffing on numerous cigarettes. More often than not, cracked paving gives way to an empty lot or a vacuous car park, often with one guy slumped in a little booth ensuring it stays as grey as possible. So, what better way to commemorate grey than with a look at its president, Armored Core 6: Fires Of Rubicon?

Having seen a 20 minute presentation of the game at this year's Summer Game Fest, I'd say it struck me as an action game through and through, with the most recognisable bits of Souls soldered onto it when it came to, say, tough battles set to erratic rhythms. Honestly, I would say the hands-off demo is exactly what I expected it to be: lots of fast bits of metal slamming into each other in what was, perhaps, the least surprising FromSoftware reveal I've seen. Here's a piecemeal, slightly chaotic breakdown of the whole experience, coming to you from the frazzled mind of a jetlagged man sitting at a wobbly table.

When I visited Ubisoft Montpellier to play Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown the other week, the developers spoke extensively how about anime and comic books had been a big inspiration for them in creating the game's visuals. As you'll have seen from my big preview, the game itself is a 2.5D platformer that mixes 3D character models and environments with sidescrolling action and dramatic camera movements as hero Sargon doles out his suite of special attacks. But as I was playing I became curious whether the team had ever experimented with going all-in on the anime visuals to create a more illustrated look akin to their excellent Rayman games. So I put the question to art director Jean-Christophe Alessandri and game director Mounir Radi after my demo session.

persona 5 royal streaming guidelines

Atlus has updated its guidelines for Persona 5 Royal to allow for the content from the entire game to appear in videos or streams. Prior to June 14, 2023, it did not allow creators to upload content from the third semester. That would have been all content past the in-game December.

There will be no patch to remove the in-game lock on recording anything past the third semester. If you're playing on the PS4, for example, you cannot use the PS4's existing recording or screenshot functions from January in Persona 5 Royal. This is because the game itself restricts the players from doing so. Since Atlus won't patch it out, you'll have to use a capture card or something similar to record scenes from the third semester.

Other guidelines for streaming or making content with Persona 5 Royal remain the same. You have to tag content that would count as spoilers with a spoiler warning, and you must display both Atlus and Sega's copyrights. Atlus also does not allow videos of just the soundtrack, nor does it allow content that slanders other parties, including other players. As well, you cannot upload your videos to a site that has a paywall.

Persona 5 Royal is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC. Streamers and creators can now include content from the entire game on their channels.

grimace's birthday

Krool Toys and McDonald's have opened up a website for a new game called Grimace's Birthday, which re-introduces retro McDonald's characters such as the titular Grimace himself. They released the game for, of course, Grimace's birthday. The website has a very Y2K aesthetic. One of the fake ads has glittering front, the text uses Times New Roman, and there's even a "Send this site for a friend" badge at the bottom.

Grimace's Birthday is a pixel art, 2D, Game Boy Color game in which Grimace has to round up his friends for his birthday. He rides on a skateboard, and can jump and do tubular tricks. You also have to help him collect his special shakes, which he'll give to his guests even though they weren't there for him to blow out his candles. You can play this on both your PC or your smartphone.

The game features characters like Birdie, Hamburglar, and, of course, Grimace. They mostly disappeared from the public eye when Ronald McDonald did. The original reason was due to parents' concerns over Ronald's obvious kid appeal and the fact he was pushing unhealthy eating habits onto children.

Grimace's Birthday is available via web browsers on PCs and mobile devices.

persona 5 tactica

A new announcement trailer Atlus uploaded for Persona 5 Tactica showed that it will come out on more consoles than just Microsoft ones, as players will be able to also pick it up for the PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. It will come out on November 17, 2023 worldwide.

You can watch the new announcement trailer for Persona 5 Tactica here that also mentioned the PS4, PS5, and Switch:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXOimM3kd9o

Previously, likely due to an agreement between Atlus and Microsoft, we only knew what Microsoft consoles it would come out on. Since Persona 5 was originally exclusive to the PS3 and PS4, it might be unsurprising that Atlus would release Persona 5 Tactica on Sony consoles. The updated Royal version appeared on the Switch after a period of time.

Instead of the usual RPG, it will be an SRPG in the vein of XCOM. In an interview with Famitsu, the development team for Persona 5 Tactica mentioned that it strove to make a game that even someone without SRPG experience could easily pick up. The maps, as well as advantages and disadvantages are easy to see, while maintaining a fast tempo of gameplay. Most of the strategies will focus on the placement of enemies and allies. For example, you can shove an enemy off a platform for an ally below them tot get in an extra hit.

Persona 5 Tactica is in development and will come out on November 17, 2023 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC via Steam.

Diablo 4 Review Featured ImageWhen I close my eyes, all I see are the numbers. The clashing of steel and the rending of flesh fade away, but the numbers remain. Ones and threes and zeroes, they fall from the bodies of my once-fierce foes, pooling among the viscera into a twisted numeric version of alphabet soup. The entire battlefield, every inch of the dungeon floor, bears the imprint of these numbers. As I trek back towards the exit door, I look down and read in that never-ending integer a history of my recent violence, a record of my cruel victory rendered in cold, unfeeling digits. Diablo 4 is, at its core, a game about these numbers: Damage numbers, stat numbers, numbers as parts of other numbers on a checklist. It's a game about building up the biggest numbers you can, to the point where the numbers of the enemy fade into irrelevance before you. While this is my first full foray into Blizzard's venerable series, I'm fairly confident in assuming that this is the way it's always been; that the inherent ...
