PCGamesN Tuesday, November 21, 2023 3:16 PM I've been a longtime fan of LG UltraGear gaming monitors, but this was admittedly a blind loyalty born from having been the first brand that I spent my own money on. Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Tuesday, November 21, 2023 6:41 PM Crucial's P5 Plus NVMe SSD is the first high-end PCIe 4.0 drive that I've seen crack the $90 barrier for a 2TB model, offering a huge amount of performance and capacity for not that much money. This drive is suitable for both PC and PS5 use (although Sony would like you to use a heatsink, please and thank you) and generally comes highly recommended by those that have tried it, including yours truly. |

The MX Keys S basically feels like the best laptop keyboard you've ever tried, with quiet scissor switches that are quick to operate with precision. The graphite colour scheme looks pretty neat too. At £85, rather than the regular £110, this is a pretty good value for a full-size wireless keyboard that supports both 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth, making it a good fit for Mac, PC and many more devices besides. |

Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Tuesday, November 21, 2023 5:21 PM Star Wars: Empire At War wasn't a great game, but it did fulfill a simple fantasy: it was a real-time strategy game with original trilogy Star Wars units. If what you wanted was to fling swarms of AT-ATs against swarms of X-Wings then, yeah, you could do that. Darth Vader versus entire platoons of rebel soldiers? That too. Why am I talking about a 2006 RTS? Because it just got a new official patch to make it run in 64-bit and fix a number of bugs. |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Tuesday, November 21, 2023 4:48 PM I watched a few hours of Worldless being played last night and didn't really register that it was turn-based. That's because it's a Metroidvania platformer and, when it is time for back-and-forth combat, you're not choosing attacks from a menu. Instead you're stringing together combos in real-time, then when your alotted attack time is over, you're parrying enemy assaults with rhythmic flair. So, turn-based, yes, but with a twist. It's also out today. |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Tuesday, November 21, 2023 3:44 PM At school I was always being told to listen better and speak more clearly. Perhaps if I'd been able to bring the Logitech G Pro X Wireless headset into Maths class, Mrs Drown wouldn't have given me such a hard time over my quadratic equations. The wired G Pro X is RPS' official pick for the best premium gaming headset, and right now you can grab the wireless version for a much more attainable price. |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Tuesday, November 21, 2023 1:57 PM Let's face it, wires are a necessary evil at best, and we should strive to avoid them as much as possible. They get tangled, they trip you up, and they're generally a nuisance. No wonder Darth Vader was grumpy all the time. He was full of wires. Few manufacturers understand this better than Logitech, whose G915 Lightspeed Wireless keyboard has been the ideal way to type without tethers for years. It combines a slim yet robust build quality with wonderfully tactile keys, incredibly fast response times, respectable battery life, and a truly standout volume wheel. Perhaps for that reason, the G915 Lightspeed has also maintained its lofty price point, with an RRP of around £220. But as part of Amazon's Black Friday sale, you can currently grab the best wireless keyboard for almost half price. It's currently available for £125 in the UK, and $160 in the US, which is 46% and 36% off respectively. |

HoYoverse will re-release a scale figure of Paimon from Genshin Impact. It'll come out sometime in March 2024. [Thanks, Hobby Dengeki!]
The Paimon figure from HoYoVerse looks like she's holding up her hand and waving hello at the Traveler. She also has a big smile on her face, with her cape flowing behind her. The Paimon figure will cost 6380 JPY ($43). She is a 1/7 scale, standing at approximately 14 centimeters tall.
As mentioned earlier, her release window is March 2024. You can order her via sites such as Tokyo Figure, which offers international shipping. Paimon is arguably one of the most recognizable characters in Genshin Impact because she is the game's mascot. Her face is even the logo of the application.
Since the game first came there has been numerous merchandise featuring her. For example, in 2021, a set of miniature Paimon figures showing her with food came out. This is a reference to a joke in which the Traveler refers to Paimon as "emergency food," though the joke disappeared early in the game's lifespan.
Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. The Paimon re-run figure from Genshin Impact will come out in March 2024.

Good Smile Company has opened up pre-orders for a Nendoroid of Kasane Teto: Synthesizer V AI Version. Pre-orders will close on January 18, 2024.
Those in Japan can get her for 7500 JPY, and she'll ship out sometime in May 2024. Meanwhile, those in North America will need to pay $47.99, and she'll arrive during Q4 2024. Ordering from Good Smile Company will get you a bonus base that has her name on it, as well as a giant 15th Anniversary logo.
The Kasane Teto Nendoroid will come with three face plates, just like most other Nendoroids. She has a default smiling face, a singing face (where she is smiling but her mouth is open), and an expectant face (complete with starry eyes). Aside from additional arm parts to pose her, the Nendoroid will also come with a baguette and wings.
Here are some more pictures of the Kasane Teto Nendoroid:
Kasane Teto came out in 2008 and was originally a joke character that fans created for April Fool's. She's technically not a Vocaloid and is actually a UTAU. Piapro officially accepted her in 2010, but she is still not a Vocaloid.
In April 2023, a Kasane Teto voice bank appeared as a Synthesizer V AI, which is what this Nendoroid's design is based on. The Synthesizer V AI design for Teto adds a white ribbon and streak in her left pigtail and ditches the open shoulders for a more cape-like look.
The Kasane Teto Nendoroid is available for pre-order from Good Smile Company until January 18, 2024.

In a recent interview, the developers of Persona 5 Tactica talked about adapting the series to the SRPG genre. They also discussed the reason for choosing that genre and their experience developing the Atlus title. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Persona 5 Tactica is the first strategy RPG in the Persona series. Composer Toshiki Konishi also noted that it is the first Atlus simultaneous worldwide release on multiple platforms. Director Naoya Maeda said that the development of Persona 5 Tactica lasted approximately four years.
Business Producer Atsushi Nomura said that the developers wanted to focus on showing the Phantom Thieves acting as a team when they started the project. The developers then concluded that the most appropriate genre to deliver the feeling would be a strategy RPG.
Since some members of the development team weren't fans of strategy RPGs due to their perceived high difficulty and the time-consuming element of leveling and managing so many different units, Maeda revealed that a lot of effort went into streamlining some of the game's most challenging elements, while maintaining the sense of progressing and growing each playable unit.
Maeda added that a turning point in the development of Persona 5 Tactica to make the game feel different from other SRPGs and emphasize elements of the Persona series was the implementation of the Triple Threat mechanic. Another cited element was the inclusion of free-form movement of the playable characters during their turn instead of selecting units and tiles for movement.
When asked about composing for an SRPG, composer Toshiki Konishi said that it was drastically different from composing for a more traditional RPG. Furthermore, they added variations to the tracks for each battle stage because they wanted to adapt to the player's emotions as the game's story progressed.
Persona 5 Tactica is now available for the Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

Capcom is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Monster Hunter by holding a vote to decide which of the series' 229 monsters is "best" and most popular. Voting will end on December 20, 2023, with the top three monsters appearing in an original illustration by the Monster Hunter development team.
Voting will require a Capcom ID, and the poll is limited to one vote per account. If you don't already have an account, you can create a Capcom ID for free here. Once logged in, you can browse the list of monsters, search by name, or even filter based on type (bird wyvern, fanged beast, elder dragon etc.) The list is pretty comprehensive, but does not seem to include monsters unique to the Monster Hunter MMO's like Frontier and Online. By voting, you will also receive access to an anniversary wallpaper, available in 1080 x 1920 or 2160 x 3840 dimensions.
You can find the announcement tweet with a link to the survey below:
Capcom previously showed off art for the 20th Anniversary at TGS 2023, and also released the recorded version of the 2023 Monster Hunter Orchestra Concert as an album back in October.
Voting for the Monster Hunter 20th Anniversary Hunters' Choice vote will close on December 20, 2023. The most recent game in the series, Monster Hunter Rise and its Sunbreak expansion, are available for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

Two more Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash characters are confirmed, and they're Kento Nanami and Mahito. One's a cursed spirit, while the other is a jujutsu sorcerer who went to school alongside Satoru Gojo.
At the moment, only the Mahito Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash profile is available. It shows the character's official art, as well as offers some details about how he'll fight. He's known for Idle Transfiguration in the series, which lets him use and shape souls, and that will return in the game. He will also have a passive called Essence of the Soul, though that isn't explained.
There's more information about Kento Nanami in Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash, including initial screenshots. As in the series, he has the Ratio Technique ability to help create a weakness and deal damage. It appears he's using it in at least one of the first four screenshots released. He'll also have the Unbound Cursed Energy passive and wield his distinctive sword.
Bandai Namco's been gradually revealing more characters in the roster as time goes by. For example, at the beginning of November 2023 it confirmed Aoi Todo, Hanami, and Jogo would all appear as playable fighters in the game.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash will launch on February 2, 2024 for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll. Viz Media handles the manga outside Japan.

The official One Piece social media account shared an array of art featuring the live-action actors alongside their manga counterpart characters. There are five images in the MANGAxLIVE-ACTION GRAND LINE, HERE WE COME line.
Many of the images are designed in such a way that the art of the One Piece characters from the outset of the manga overlap with the person. So in the case of the Roronoa Zoro piece, his right arm and sword hilt are in the forefront over Mackenyu. In the Usopp image, the character art features his slingshot and left arm over Jacob Romero Gibson's left shoulder.
Here's the full One Piece MANGAxLIVE-ACTION GRAND LINE, HERE WE COME gallery.
As a reminder, here's the list of One Piece live-action actors that make up the Straw Hat Pirates so far.
We'll be seeing more of them in the future. Netflix confirmed that there will be a second season of the live-action adaptation. Back in September 2023, it was also confirmed that there are already scripts for it written.
The One Piece live-action first season is on Netflix, and season 2 is in development. The anime is available on both Crunchyroll and Netflix. Viz Media handles the manga outside Japan.

Ayaneo kicked off yet another crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo for its latest handheld gaming PC. The latest model is the Ayaneo Slide, which comes with a build-in keyboard and features a T-Mobile Sidekick-like design.
The Ayaneo Slide Indiegogo campaign available right now until around January 4, 2024. For a limited time, interested buyers can pledge to support a few different models of varying price points. The company expects to ship the product sometime in December 2023.
There are four different versions of the Ayaneo Slide for consumers to check out:
There's also a teaser trailer showing off the device.
There is an early bird discount price for each of the four configurations. It ranges from 22% off for the base 16GB plus 512GB model to 18% off for the most expensive model, bringing it down to around $1,308 USD. The differences between the versions seem to focus on the storage capacities. However, they all have the same AMD 7840U GPU.
The crux of the Ayaneo Slide is in the name. It has a Nintendo Switch-like appearance similar to other Ayaneo handheld gaming devices, but the screen slides up to reveal an entire QWERTY keyboard underneath. This lets users immediately type on the hardware without needing an external keyboard to help.
It comes in black and white options. Both options have the same features, such as joysticks, D-Pad, triggers, shoulder buttons, and a cooling fan in the back. The actual screen of the device is a 6" 1080p IPS screen, which comes with high brightness options. On the battery side, it comes with a hefty 46.2Wh battery, but weighs around 650 grams.
The Ayaneo Slide is expected to ship in December 2023. The Indiegogo campaign will run until around January 4, 2024.

Continue reading to know everything about Diablo 4 free trial on Steam for a week! To that end, Diablo 4 is currently free for Steam users from November 21 to November 28. There are some limitations other than the time constraint, of course. ... |
