What a wild week of fresh products, big announcements, and ever more leaks. Team TechRadar is currently coming down off its CES 2024 high, where we saw everything from competing transparent display technologies to cooking robots, flying cars, indoor observatories, and upstart health and fitness wearables. There was even a surprise gadget that no one saw coming but everyone is talking about (maybe it’s the name – who doesn’t like rabbits?).
As expected, AI was everywhere and in everything. There were new robot companions and appliances that could use AI to help you plan and make a meal.
Meanwhile, and in very typical fashion, Apple tried to steal all the thunder by announcing the availability of its innovative Vision Pro mixed reality headset, which triggered many new revelations and questions.
Samsung was a big CES presence but most eyes were turning toward the anticipated Galaxy S24 release next week and, of course, we had more leaks this week. There was some star power at CES (like Martha Stewart, Robert Downey Jr. and Netflix’s new 3 Body Problem), but also some compelling entertainment news like that new Mandalorian film (I hope it features less weird CGI Luke Skywalker), and a surprising update on Netflix’s effort to grow its ad-supported tier.
I’d share more but it’s time to fly home.

The week at CES 2024
We've seen a host of announcements at CES (Future)
The TechRadar team has been busy at CES in Las Vegas, checking out all the brand new gadgets coming our way this year, and we've now picked out 20 of our favorites – including OLED TVs, laptops, telescopes, car tech, health trackers, and more besides.
Here's what you need to know about televisions in 2024: transparent TVs are very much on the way, and we could barely believe our eyes when we checked out the LG Signature OLED T, one of the new transparent models that are heading our way.
Now this is the kind of CES demo that we really enjoy: tech that seems to come from the near-future rather than the present. Helix is demoing its Helix Pivotal personal vertical take-off and landing contraption aircraft this week, and it's certainly turning heads.
The first video ad for the Apple Vision Pro has landed, and it's an attention grabber. With the headset about to finally go on sale we're learning a few extra details about it, including its expected battery life, and what Apple will be including in the box.
We're expecting the Samsung Galaxy S24 handsets to get their official unveiling on Wednesday, but you can fill the time between then and now by poring over the latest batch of predicted specs for the phones that have leaked out online.
Whatever streaming services you're signed up for, we've got some recommendations for what to watch this weekend – including the new series of True Detective, the first Marvel release of the year, and Kevin Hart's latest action-comedy on Netflix.
