HoYoVerse announced an upcoming special program for Genshin Impact Version 4.5. It will take place on March 1, 2024 from 4:00 AM PT/7:00 AM ET.
Like with the other special programs for Genshin Impact, you'll be able to watch it via the official YouTube and Twitch channels. Judging from the picture, the voice actors for Aether, Sucrose, Kirara, and Chiori will be hosting it. Aside from telling players about new content that'll be in the game, we'll also get redemption codes for rewards like Primogems.
It looks like for this upcoming patch, Chiori will be the only new playable character. She is a Geo Sword character. Though she was originally from Inazuma, she now runs the Chioriya Boutique in Fontaine. She was a prominent character in the Version 4.3 flagship event, so those who played that already have a basic idea of who she is. Hints of Chiori's presence appeared ever since 2023 when Kirara came out. Her voice lines mentioned a Chiori, which in turn caused those who named their Wanderer "Chiori" to have to change it.
Currently, Version 4.4 of Genshin Impact is still ongoing. Players still have a chance to pull for either Xiao or Yae Miko. You can also participate in the "Receiver of Friends From Afar" event, which is a new one based on cooking.
Genshin Impact is readily available for the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Genshin Impact Version 4.5 will likely come out on March 13, 2024.

Siliconera Tuesday, February 27, 2024 10:05 PM In a unique collaboration between Square Enix and Nissin Foods leading into the release of FFVII Rebirth, Sephiroth has been transformed into the "One-Winged Dongitsune" in Nissin's Donbei Kitsune Udon advertisement. In the ad promoting both FFVII Rebirth and Nissin's Donbei Kitsune Udon, the Sephiroth is shown to be standing in fire with a fox tail and ears, which is the iconic look of the "dongitsune", a fox spirit who is associated with Donbei bowls. He turns around in the flames and says "Cloud, I have a favor to ask you. Would you like to eat Donbei?" Cloud responds with his iconic line, "not interested." As the ad continues, Sephiroth continues to implore Cloud to eat the Donbei Kitsune Udon as a piece of abura-age tofu sails down from the heavens as a massive meteor until Cloud gives in. He tells Cloud "Remember that every time you see the Dongitsune, the Dongitsune will guide you. Dongitsune will always be by your side." As Cloud eats the Donbei in the Nissin Donbei x FFVII Rebirth advertisement, he is healed by 7777 HP. Sephiroth, as the One-Winged Dongitsune, praises Cloud for eating the Donbei by calling him a "good boy." The ad ends with Sephiroth saying "Shall I give you Donbei?" While the ad reuses familiar moments from FFVII Remake and scenes shown in various promotional materials for FFVII Rebirth, it has been newly animated by Square Enix to show Sephiroth holding a bowl of Donbei and Cloud eating udon. The Nissin Donbei x FFVII Rebirth advertisement can be seen below: [embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nhQSqD42pE[/embed] Final Fantasy VII Rebirth releases on the PS5 on February 29, 2024. The game's PS5 exclusivity arrangement expires on May 29, 2024. A demo for the game is available to download on the PS5 and will allow players to skip the Nibelheim segment in the full game. PC Invasion - FeedDDD Wednesday, February 28, 2024 4:00 AM While melee attacks and abilities are the core of the combat in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you won't be able to succeed without equipping your party members with the best Materia for each encounter. Magic can make quick work of most enemies, and upgrading Materia will unlock stronger spells. You can purchase base-level Materia from most vendors in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and you'll receive many different kinds of Materia from quest rewards and Chadley's research, but unlocking the true potential of these Materia requires you to put in a little bit of work. If you want to upgrade your Fire spell to Fira and then Firaga, for example, there's some grinding in your future. How to Raise Materia Levels in FF7 Rebirth To upgrade Materia in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, all you have to do is have it equipped during combat. When you finish a fight, all of your equipped Materia earns AP, which are Materia-specific experience points. After reaching certain AP milestones,... |
PC Invasion - FeedDDD Wednesday, February 28, 2024 3:00 AM When you reach Junon in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you'll need to collect members of the Seventh Infantry to participate in the parade so Cloud and the party can get closer to Rufus Shinra. The troopers are scattered throughout Junon, however, so completing the "No I in Team" quest can be tricky. You only need to find five of the 10 Seventh Infantry groups to begin the parade and continue with the main storyline, but you will unlock different parade formations based on the troops that you recruit. If you want the best chance of receiving the Presidential Commendation (and snagging a missable trophy), you'll need to find all of them. All Seventh Infantry Locations in Junon Screenshot: PC Invasion Most of the Seventh Infantry troops can be found inside the shops in Junon's shopping center, but a few of them are taking photos outside or taking in the sights outdoors. It's easy enough to find five of them, but finding all 10 of them can be hard... |
PC Invasion - FeedDDD Wednesday, February 28, 2024 2:00 AM The parade sequence from the original Final Fantasy 7 has been greatly expanded in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, allowing you to customize your parade formation with troops that you find throughout Junon. To earn the highest possible score for your performance, you'll need the best combination of troops. You only need to recruit five different troops to begin the parade in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, but collecting them all will give you the most freedom when it comes to creating formations. Different troop combinations can unlock harder formations and, in turn, earn you more points, bringing you one step closer to the Presidential Commendation (and a missable trophy). Which Parade Formation Should You Choose in FF7 Rebirth? Screenshot: PC Invasion While you can mix and match Seventh Infantry units to create a wide variety of formations, the absolute best combination is two Riot Troopers, two Grenadiers, and one Flametrooper. Placing the Flametrooper in the center of the grou... |
PC Invasion - FeedDDD Wednesday, February 28, 2024 1:00 AM Exploring the open world of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is much easier with a Chocobo, and thankfully, you'll get your first feathered friend very early in the game. You'll still need to explore some of the Grasslands on foot, however, but this guide will tell you exactly where to go to get a Chocobo. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Chocobo Location To get a Chocobo in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, just follow the main story objectives. After leaving Kalm and entering the Grasslands for the first time, your objective markers will lead you to a man named Bill who runs the nearby Chocobo Ranch. Screenshot: PC Invasion After finding Bill and his broken-down truck, Cloud and company will continue to head toward Junon. Their progress will quickly become blocked after encountering a dangerous swamp, however, so now you'll need to follow the large yellow signs and visit the Chocobo Ranch to cross the waters. Once you reach the Chocobo Ranch, you'll be introduced to Bill ... |
PC Invasion - FeedDDD Wednesday, February 28, 2024 12:30 AM Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth opens with a flashback to Nibelheim that depicts Sephiroth's descent into madness, but this scene was featured in a demo for the game released before launch. If you played it there, you can skip it in the full game. However, once you reach the demo scene in the main game of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you'll find yourself wondering how exactly you're supposed to skip it. There isn't an option in the menu, and you're still forced to walk around Nibelheim like in the demo. So, how do you skip the opening Nibelheim chapter in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth? How to Skip the Nibelheim Flashback in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth While the game says you can skip the Nibelheim segment with a completed demo save file, this isn't entirely accurate. You can only skip the combat segments with Cloud and Sephiroth leading to the reactor. You still have to play the opening section of Nibelheim where Cloud visits Tifa's house and explores the v... |
