Huge new Manor Lords update is about to transform the medieval strategy game

Once the most wishlisted game on all of Steam, Manor Lords has captured the adoration of city builder and strategy game fans by offering a medieval alternative to Cities Skylines 2, and the perfect primer for the upcoming Civilization 7. Detailed, deep, and focused on the minutiae of everyday feudal governance, the early access version has already proven a hit, but now Manor Lords is about to be greatly expanded with new maps, building upgrades, and improvements to the economy as requested by players.

Throne and Liberty server status and maintenance times

November 25, 2024: We updated the Throne and Liberty server status.

What's the Throne and Liberty server status? Launching a new MMO is always a challenge, and Throne and Liberty has had to overcome its fair share of them server side. Fortunately, developer NCSoft and publisher Amazon Games have been quick to act, making great strides in improving the player experience.

If you can't currently log into the game, there's a good chance Throne and Liberty maintenance is currently underway. Typically, this process takes several hours, meaning you'll just have to find another great MMO game to play until Throne and Liberty is back online. The T&L team usually announces maintenance ahead of time, so we'll be sure to keep this guide updated with the latest developments.

     Genshin Impact concert promotes

Videogame concerts have become de rigueur in recent years. We've seen the Elden Ring Symphonic Adventure, the FFVII Rebirth Orchestra World Tour, and now Sony is getting in on the action with PlayStation: The Concert. Often held in arena-style venues, these performances are an exercise in self-indulgent commercialism, replete with large projection screens and official merchandise to wave while you watch. Even HoYoverse has enjoyed success with the Genshin Impact Concert Tour in recent years.

Manor Lords developer Greg Styczeń, aka Slavic Magic, has emerged from his keep with news of a forthcoming patch for the medieval city builder. It'll add new maps, building upgrades and reworks for various economic systems.

The announcement post is mostly image-based, in keeping with the classic saying that "a picture is worth a thousand words, as long as the words in question are mostly synonyms for 'hut', 'mud', 'tree' and 'mountain'". Fortunately, Styczeń threw in a few captions to light the way.

Stalker 2: Heart Of Chornobyl has been in the wild for almost a week now, and it's a great, if predictably somewhat shonky time, is the word on the street. Literally, that's what the streets are saying. "It's good! A bit shonky, though!" opined my postman this morning, enunciating each syllable by yanking the package further from my grasp. "Don't worry!" I said. "A patch for the FPS is coming next week". "That's cheered me right up, that has! Thank god for games journalists!" he replied. Then the whole street started cheering and bringing me various baked goods. It was a delicious time, and here's the notes from the delicious patch:

The Maw doesn't hibernate, but it does... decelerate. As the year fades, its seismic pulse slows from Gatling-gun prestissimo to howitzer larghissimo. Its compound eyes contract or dim or vanish entirely. Its limbs lengthen, forming contrails from the Arctic to Antarctica (what, did you think those were from planes? Haha. Hahahaha.) Accordingly, news writing becomes a kind of lullaby. Softly now - which promising new PC games are out this week?
