Hey, you, come a bit closer. Do I look glassy-eyed? Liquid Glassy-eyed perhaps? No, it’s not for a lack of sleep – though that’s a thing too – but because I still can’t get over the wonders I witnessed at Apple WWDC.
Some might call Apple’s big developer keynote a disappointment, but I had time to digest changes across all of its major platforms in not one but two wide-ranging podcast discussions.
One was a first for TechRadar, as we joined forces with our colleagues at Tom’s Guide to interview two of Apple’s heaviest hitters, while the second was our regular TechRadar Podcast, devoted to all things WWDC. Both were conducted inside the iconic Apple Ring, just hours after Apple CEO Tim Cook stepped off the stage.
You should watch or listen to both podcasts, and read the big story that came out of the former discussion – we got the real story behind the big Siri Apple Intelligence delay, straight from the horse’s mouth.
With Liquid Glass and countless other updates coming to everything from iOS to macOS, you’ll also want to comb through all the other WWDC-focused stories Team TechRadar produced. We break down everything from the global name change (we’re all 26 now) to iPadOS’s star-making moment.
Apple may have hogged the spotlight this week, but the rest of the tech world did not stand still. Android 16 arrived, and the rumors around Samsung’s next foldable phone launches are coming in fast and hot.
Meanwhile, over in the world of ‘AI Time,’ which moves faster than normal time, we got some more bold predictions from OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, and more not-too-surprising, if a little weird, AI-powered cultural developments.
In the world of entertainment, Superman tickets went on sale (just sayin’ cuz I cannot wait to see it), Netflix’s redesign is not a global hit, and Amazon Prime is making us miserable with more and more ads. Isn’t this why we canceled cable in the first place?
Hope those of you celebrating Father's Day have a grand time this weekend, and that all of us get some much-needed rest.

Google has officially started pushing out the big Android 16 update, with Pixel phones getting it first – but we're not going to see its major interface revamp for a while yet.
OpenAI chief Sam Altman spends much of his time pondering the future of AI and robotics, and he's penned a blog post (without AI's help) with some bold new predictions.
