The best Warzone Pacific Kar98k loadout

The Kar98k is the most popular sniper rifle among high skill Warzone players and its easy to see why. When you compare the Kar98k to the rest of the Warzone Pacific sniper rifles, this bolt-action rifle is highly mobile yet it boasts the same terrifying one-shot kill potential to fully armoured players.

Of course this comes with a heap of caveats that ensure this marksman rifle isn't downright overpowered. For starters, the Kar98k has some significant damage drop-off over long distances that make limb and lower and upper torso shots very weak. It also has a lot more bullet drop and travel time in its base form, so you'll struggle to land long shots with the Kar98k.

We have two different builds for the Kar98k depending on the Warzone Pacific mode you're playing. The Vanguard integration into Warzone has only just begun, but it looks like the original Kar98k from Modern Warfare remains the best version of the weapon so far. Our builds keep the fast aim down sight speed of the base rifle, but extends the range and improves the bullet velocity.

     Nvidia DLSS graphics explained

PC gaming has always been about customisability, allowing you to change your game's settings based on your hardware to walk the fine line between resolution and frame rate. Nvidia's deep learning super sampling (DLSS) is a video rendering technique that's designed to help you boost fps without sacrificing too much of your visual quality.

DLSS works by rendering the game at a lower resolution to reduce the stress placed on your GPU, before rebuilding the image back up to your chosen native resolution through artificial intelligence (AI). There are only two catches to the feature: it isn't supported by every game, and, unlike AMD's new FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) and other forms of anti-aliasing, it's a hardware solution that requires an RTX graphics card in order to run.

While Nvidia Reflex goes a long way to give you the competitive edge in FPS games, DLSS is debatably the most innovative feature Nvidia has released in recent years. It was originally created to make ray tracing more accessible by reducing the performance hit that comes with it, but has since crafted its own identity as of DLSS 2.0, independently appearing in games.

Best Warzone Pacific loadout drop: top setups for Season 1

Searching for the best Warzone Pacific loadout in Call of Duty's battle royale? Warzone has integrated with modern Call of Duty games in the past, but Vanguard and Warzone Season 1 has introduced the biggest changes to the battle royale game since it was first released. After almost two years, Verdansk and its '80s variant has been replaced with Caldera, the new Warzone map located in the Pacific.

While there's plenty of ground loot on Caldera that is certainly good enough to secure you a few kills, you're going to want to call in a loadout drop as soon as you can. You can use create-a-class setups from Vanguard's multiplayer mode in Warzone, allowing you to fight using your personalised guns. This includes every weapon attachment, perk, and tactical equipment you might bring with you in the multiplayer mode.

Our best Warzone Pacific loadout drops are slightly different to our recommended loadouts for Vanguard's multiplayer mode, as we need to account for the size of Caldera, in addition to armour plates and other Warzone exclusive features. We've earned plenty of wins and are confident that we have the best loadouts for Warzone Pacific to help you secure your first dub, no matter how you prefer to play.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade system requirements ask for 100GB from your SSD

Square Enix has finally pulled back the curtain on the Final Fantasy 7 Remake release date for PC, and we now know what you'll need inside your gaming PC to relive this reimagined classic JPRG. Thankfully, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade system requirements aren't too taxing, despite this being a port of the game's enhanced PS5 version.

Those who played the original Final Fantasy 7 on PlayStation will remember it was spread across three discs, as it was impossible to fit the entire game on a single trademark black CD-ROM. While we've largely done away with physical formats on PC, you'll still need to clear 100GB of storage space to fit the game on your SSD.

There's no word on PC-exclusive features, unfortunately, but we may see the introduction of Nvidia DLSS upscaling in a future patch, as Square Enix previously implemented the tech in its port of Final Fantasy 15.

Everything we know about Gorou in Genshin impact

Want to know more about the Genshin Impact Gorou banner? The Genshin Impact 2.0 update introduced us to a wealth of new Genshin Impact characters hailing from Inazuma. Alongside Ayaka, Sayu, and Yoimiya, who were available on banners in 2.0, there are several other NPCs in Inazuma who we expect to become playable characters in the future.

Gorou is a member of the resistance movement that opposes the vision hunt, and has an easy going personality. In-game voice lines expand on Gorou's character further, with Kazuha, who was liberated by Gorou, saying that "he's the type of person who says whatever is on his mind. He shares the highs and lows of his subordinate and is never afraid to draw his sword for the sake of a friend".

He's also an anthropomorphic chap with fox ears and a tail, similar to Diona, but you may be wondering when Gorou's banner release date is and what star ranking he'll be. Read on to learn more about this Geo character coming to the game in Genshin Impact 2.3.

Genshin Impact codes December 2021 – how to redeem free primogems

Looking for Genshin Impact codes? MiHoYo's charming open-world game is notoriously addictive, and if you're anything like us, you're constantly on the lookout for more Genshin Impact primogems and other goodies.

Gathering currency in Genshin Impact can be quite the grind - while you can earn mora and primogems by completing quests such as daily commissions, an injection of extra funds will always be gratefully received. Fortunately, the developers occasionally send out free gifts in the form of codes that can be redeemed online.

These Genshin Impact codes are released periodically. They frequently appear in MiHoYo's special programs that reveal information about future updates coming to the game soon, but are also released to celebrate milestones or to coincide with Genshin Impact events. Most codes also only work for a limited time - so it's a good idea to redeem them as soon as possible in case you miss out. Codes can only be redeemed once per account. Here are all the current Genshin Impact codes for December 2021, and how to redeem them.

Redeeming them is simple - log in to the Roblox website and navigate to their promo codes page, where you can enter your code, and the item will automatically be added to your account straight away.

Promo codes aren't the only source of free items, though; you can also find free Roblox stuff in the avatar shop. There are far too many to list, but there are hundreds of items available for nothing: simply click the 'get' button next to their catalog listing to add them to your account. Be sure to check back here regularly, as we'll update this page whenever new Roblox promo codes are released.

Genshin Impact Itto banner and abilities

The Genshin Impact 2.3 livestream has officially revealed two new Genshin Impact characters coming to the game later this month: Arataki Itto and Gorou. Arataki Itto is the boss of the Arataki Gang, if the name wasn't a wee bit of a tease - he's "an intrepid man with Oni blood running through his veins" who is "fast as the wind and mighty as thunder".

We already know a fair bit about Gorou thanks to the devs sharing information about the four star Canine warrior on Twitter. Gorou's playstyle matches a support character, whereas Itto's abilities force him into the DPS category. Though Itto likes to think of himself as a bigshot gang leader, the Tenryou Commissions officials consider him to be currently unemployed. Itto isn't a gang leader in the traditional sense, as people around Inazuma have heard rumours about him playing cards against school kids to win their snacks as prizes.

As a claymore and Geo element user, Itto has the potential to steal a spot in many parties if his abilities turn out to be powerful. Here's everything we know about his release date and abilities.

League of Legends patch 12.1 notes – Arcane-themed Firelight Ekko, Elderwood skins, Teleport changes

The first patch of the League of Legends 2022 season has hit the PBE. League of Legends patch 11.24 has headed to live servers to make its debut on the Rift and, following a bunch of teases from Riot Games on social media, the latest batch of new content has begun trickling onto the testing grounds ready for patch 12.1's arrival in the live game soon. Let's take a look.

First up, we've got yet another champion skin inspired by the MOBA game's tremendously successful new spin-off Netflix show, Arcane. This time, it's The Boy Who Shattered Time in for a themed skin, with Riot having previewed Firelight Ekko on League's Twitter channels ahead of his arrival on the PBE. A good thing, too, given his presence in the show as a member of the Firelights gang - and it seems his new look draws on his hoverboard and mask from the series. We've also got some new Elderwood skins on the way, this time for lucky champs Gnar and Rek'Sai.

As is is very often the case when a patch has only just hit the PBE, we don't have any balance changes to check out just yet. However, we know Riot tends to post an early preview at some point in the days following, with the full round of tweaks hitting the PBE shortly afterwards, so we should have a good idea of which champions, items, or runes are in for adjustments very soon. Keep checking back as we'll include everything you need to know in the notes below.

I am not great at keeping my mind palace organised. I don't even have a mind palace. If my mind were any kind of structure it would be a Lego creative box of randomly mixed bricks. Thus, like an advanced robot, I store my memory outside my body in the form of daily to-do lists that I write up every morning. Wytchwood is a to-do list game, with each item cascading into a sub-list of more things to be ticked off. The difference is, in real life, my daily to-do list only includes 'make shiny lure to catch an elf and steal its shoes' on Tuesdays.

Remember Saints Row? It's back, in trailer form. After Volition's reboot of their wacky crime RPG series was revealed in August, then delayed in November, we were treated to a new gameplay trailer at last night's Game Awards.

The trailer is a series of clips, each averaging about 3 seconds long, of different people shooting different guns and rockets and so on. So it's technically a gameplay trailer in the way that loads of different corpses stitched together is a person (no comments from Frankenstein fans). Still, aside from confirming the new release date of August 23rd next year, I think this trailer also confirms that the new city of Santo Ileso is going to be the star of this game. Check out the trailer below to agree with me.
