PCGamesN Sunday, February 27, 2022 7:54 AM  From Software's latest epic Elden Ring is already one of the best RPGs on PC, but it's not without its technical issues - including stuttering at certain points. Now, Valve itself is looking into the "heavy stutter" problem and says it will be fixed this week - but possibly only the Steam Deck and Proton version. Elden Ring is undoubtedly one of the best open-world games ever made, so much so that we scored it a rare perfect 10 in our review - but it's not without some problems. Performance issues such as stuttering have abounded for many players, and the problem is so bad that reviews have knocked Elden Ring down to a "Mixed" rating on Steam. From Software and Bandai Namco have already apologised for these troubles, advising patience and adding that the team is "constantly working to improve the game". A new patch was released yesterday, in fact, with update 1.02.1 taking aim at Easy Anti Cheat startup problems and reducing the "number of files needed to load" in new areas. PCGamesN Sunday, February 27, 2022 6:42 AM  While we know next to nothing about Destiny 2: Lightfall, the next big expansion for Bungie's live-service FPS game, we now have one important new piece of information: it will have the same campaign lead as this week's The Witch Queen DLC. After multiple delays - it was originally meant to come out last year - Destiny 2: The Witch Queen expansion finally launched on February 22 and brought with it a lot of new content for one of the best multiplayer games on PC - which has seemingly been well-received by fans and critics alike. The Witch Queen was led by Andrew Hopps, who has been working on Destiny at Bungie for over ten years now, according to his LinkedIn page. He was upgraded to Destiny 2's campaign lead in 2020. According to Hopps' Twitter account, now that Witch Queen is out he has now moved on to lead the next major expansion Lightfall too - which he let fans know about by updating his Twitter bio.
