PCGamesN Monday, June 13, 2022 5:57 AM ![]() Nvidia RTX 4000 GPUs are expected to arrive later this year, but a slight delay could be on the cards. Whispers from the rumour mill claim the green team's next best graphics cards will arrive a month later than expected, and even the budget GTX 1630 is running a little late. According to Videocardz, multiple sources have confirmed an Nvidia RTX 4000 delay, pushing the GPU's potential ETA. Rumours point towards the flagship RTX 4090 showing up in September, while the RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 should show up in October and November respectively. The report doesn't mention the RTX 4060, but the setback means it might pop up even further into 2023. The GeForce GTX 1630 has also missed its May 31 launch, with leaked documents suggesting its arrival date is now 'TBD'. Videocardz says board partners are awaiting validation on their manufactured cards, so it should be too long before the budget contender makes its way to gaming PCs. PCGamesN Monday, June 13, 2022 5:44 AM ![]() Want to know when the Genshin Impact 2.8 release date is? Despite the 2.7 update delay that disrupted Hoyoverse's usual six week development cycle for the anime game, the studio has already announced an expected release date for the next update, version 2.8, well in advance of when we would usually find out. This is still subject to change, of course, but for now rest assured that the Genshin Impact 2.8 release date has been set, although there's still plenty more we don't know about the new update. Current rumours suggest we'll get a new Genshin Impact character, but there will also be new Genshin Impact events and other new content to work through as well. Despite the fact that Genshin Impact 2.7 has only recently been released, there are still plenty of rumours circulating for us to compile into one place. From events, to banners, and whatever else we've managed to discover, here's everything we know about Genshin Impact 2.8, including the release date. PCGamesN Monday, June 13, 2022 4:37 AM ![]() We've had our first glimpse of the Zenless Zone Zero characters we'll be playing as in Hoyoverse's new action-RPG game, which was recently announced. It's immediately clear that this is going to be a different style of anime game than Genshin Impact with guns, anthropomorphic animals, and a contemporary cityscape featuring prominently in the announcement trailer. We don't know much about this new "urban fantasy" adventure, but its exuberant cast of characters were shown off in plenty of detail. First off, a little context. In Zenless Zone Zero, players take the role of a 'Proxy', a person that is uniquely able to enter and explore 'Hollows', which are dimensional rifts that have caused the destruction of the wider world. Hollows are also inhabited by roaming monsters called Ethereals, and as a Proxy, you can form a squad drawn from a diverse cast of Zenless Zone Zero characters to embark on expeditions into these rifts. Why? That part's a mystery for now, but one thing we do know is that the last surviving city of humanity - New Eridu - has survived partly because it has managed to find a way to exploit the Hollows for valuable resources, and there are plenty of factions in New Eridu that want to maximise these opportunities. So basically, the answer is loot. For now, let's take a look at everything we know about the characters of Zenless Zone Zero. Siliconera Monday, June 13, 2022 5:00 AM Kojima Productions clarified its relationship with both Microsoft and Sony Interactive Entertainment in response to its recent announcement of a new game in partnership with Xbox Game Studios. The company took to Twitter to explain some of its business plans going forward, as well as shed light on future games within the PlayStation ecosystem. During the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, Hideo Kojima announced that his company would be partnering with Xbox Game Studios on a new game. The game, Kojima stated, will be "one that no one has ever experienced or seen before," and will utilize Microsoft's cloud technology. This echoed statements from September 2021 in which Kojima revealed that he wanted to make games that "change in real-time." Kojima would later go on to reveal that two new games were in development, one of which was "new and challenging." https://twitter.com/KojiPro2015_EN/status/1536227678352973824?s=20&t=1trxmfMJW4aJQGy1Lgi7lw Though rumors of a possible partnership have existed for some time, many fans have reportedly asked Kojima Productions about its ongoing partnership with Microsoft's competitor, Sony Interactive Entertainment. To this, Kojima Productions first clarified that it would continue pursuing work "as an independent creative studio." As such, Kojima Productions will continue to maintain "a very good partnership with PlayStation as well." Kojima Productions' first game was Death Stranding, a PlayStation 4 exclusive title on launch. The game later received a Director's Cut edition exclusively for PlayStation 5 in 2021, followed by a PC port in 2022. Additionally, actor Norman Reedus revealed earlier this year that a Death Stranding sequel was currently in production.
