Siliconera Tuesday, January 31, 2023 7:00 PM Square Enix seems to have taken action against members Team UNNAMED, the team of FFXIV Omega World First raiders. According to a tweet posted by member Haruka Setsuna, Square Enix is invalidating the achievement for members of the team and removing associated titles, gear, and items connected with the initial win. https://twitter.com/Haruka_Setsuna_/status/1620502206645669888 The tweet from Haruka Setsuna consists of an apology to the members of the Final Fantasy XIV community and their friends who supported them. They also reported that they received a punishment in-game, posting screenshots of a chat exchange with FFXIV Game Master (GM) "G.X." The exchange showed the GM stating that Square Enix confirmed that Haruka Setsuna was "involved with a captured video from The Omega Protocol (Ultimate) that included cheating." Although the player themselves did not directly commit the concerned act, the cheats used worked to their advantage, causing them to "profit from cheating." The GM stated that since the player did not commit fraudulent activity, an account warning would not be issued. However, the achievements and title obtained from clearing The Omega Protocol (Ultimate) would be removed from their character. They were also instructed to manually discard the weapon received from the clear immediately. Since the debut of Final Fantasy XIV's "The Omega Protocol (Ultimate)" raid on January 23, 2023, organized teams of players have been racing to be the first to complete the current top-level challenge in the game. Team UNNAMED in FFXIV were the first to report a clear on January 31, 2023 (Japan Time), but evidence emerged that members of the team had used third-party tools or hacks to gain an advantage. Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida issued a statement reiterating the rules against the use of third-party tools in-game. He also said that if Square Enix found that an FFXIV Omega World First raider was found using such methods, that the team would not recognize the feat officially. Final Fantasy XIV is available on the PC, PS4, and PS5. The Omega Protocol (Ultimate) appeared in Patch 6.31. It is already available on Steam for those who want to Wishlist it. The Karaoke will be a J-Horror game about a high school girl at a karaoke. Some popular games from Chilla's Art include Aka Manto, The Convenience Store, and The Closing Shift. They can gather clues to figure out the tragic history of the antagonist. This culminates into a final confrontation at the end. The Karaoke will come out on Windows PCs on February 3, 2023. PC Invasion - FeedDDD Tuesday, January 31, 2023 7:41 PM Upon defeating Kale and clearing the main story, Hi-Fi Rush presents you with a new task. Hidden in most of the game's tracks is a numbered Spectra Door leading to a special challenge that puts your knowledge of the combat system to the test. Think of like the secret missions from Devil May Cry or the Alfheim challenges in Bayonetta. You have likely already come across at least one of these doors on your initial playthrough, but the game prevents you from entering them until after the credits roll. If you wish to squeeze more mileage out of the game and tackle this postgame quest, this guide will go over how to find every Spectra Door in Hi-Fi Rush and beat the challenges within. Hi-Fi Rush: How to find and complete all Spectra Door challenges Track 1 Spectra Door You can access this Spectra Door soon after you finish Chorus 4 — the fight on the rooftop, to be more specific. PC Invasion - FeedDDD Tuesday, January 31, 2023 6:51 PM I know you weren't expecting a SpongeBob game to be insanely demanding, but the PC port for SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is truly easy to run. The recommended Nvidia GPU is just a 1050 Ti. If you have modern hardware, you'll be able to run this game at rock-solid high framerates with ease. I played the game at 120 fps with an RTX 3090 and it was smooth sailing the whole way through. I don't recall any frame dips at all, but I did have at least one crash. The game autosaves constantly, though, and with three rotating autosaves, losing any significant progress is unlikely. If you played the remake of the early 00s game before, you likely know exactly what to expect, as this game isn't technologically all that different. The install size is also quite small, coming in at only 8.59 GB. But that's enough about all that. Let's take a look at the display, graphics, and control menus. No, this is Patrick Remember when I said we'd... |

The other useful power to have in the melee slot is the Shield Spin. It blocks essentially everything from the front arc, lasts quite a while, and may even protect your friends. PC Invasion - FeedDDD Tuesday, January 31, 2023 5:28 PM Coming into the new year, we have a slate of highly anticipated games worth adding to the wish list. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to the suprisingly good Jedi: Fallen Order, was among them. Thankfully, it still is, though fans will now have to hold off a little longer to continue the journey of Cal Kestis. Jedi: Survivor has been delayed, but it's not all bad news. Game Director Stig Asmussen dropped the news today in a message to the community. According to the post, Jedi: Survivor has been delayed from March 17 to April 28 in order to improve stability and polish. Asmussen writes that the team wants to "hit the Respawn quality bar," which requires a little bit of extra time. As mentioned, it's not all bad news. Certainly, a delay for one of the most hotly anticipated games of 2023 is always rough. But it's only a mere six weeks, and the end result should be a much more optimized game experience. In this age of modern games launching with graphica... |

WGB, Home of AWESOME Reviews Tuesday, January 31, 2023 7:24 PM Somehow we've made it to 2023, a glorious achievement for a species that seems completely intent on finding dumber and dumber ways to wipe themselves out. The last year had some pretty awesome games, though, with almost everyone getting at least one or two titles they could run home and bug their mum to buy. And the coming year looks like it's going to be stacked with stuff to play. |
