Type-Moon has updated its streaming guidelines for Tsukihime: A piece of blue glass moon ahead of its official release. To summarize, you can stream the entirety of Arcueid's route, but you can only stream the opening of Ciel's.
All of the guidelines are available on the official webpage and you can read them in English or Japanese. Except for the songs in the opening animation and Arcueid ending (which are under another company's copyright), you can stream all of the episodes in Arcueid's route until the opening of Ciel's. You cannot stream the 15-22 and 25th "Teach Me, Miss Ciel" segments, nor can you show any part of Ciel's route past her opening (including the ending credits).
For videos, you must add in some content such as commentary; in other words, you can't post the raw footage of the cutscenes. Other rules are similar to the streaming guidelines for games like Persona 5. You can't use third-party content without their permission, post content that might damage the credibility or reputation of people who worked on the game, illegally obtained content, or anything that could be considered morally offensive. Finally, make sure you include spoiler warnings when posting onto social media.
Tsukihime: A piece of blue glass moon is the enhanced remake of Tsukihime, which came out in Japan in December 2000. It received several adaptations, such as an anime series, and a meta-sequel in Melty Blood. Tsukihime tells the story of Shiki Tohno, who gains the ability to see death lines after a near-fatal accident in his childhood. Other than this "defect," he manages to live a normal life as a high school up until a chance encounter with Arcueid drags him into the supernatural conflicts in his hometown of Souya.
Tsukihime: A piece of blue glass moon will come out on July 27, 2024 for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch. You can read our review of it here.

CyberAgent (the parent company of Cygames) has acquired Nitroplus. It purchased 72.5% of its stocks for 16.4 billion JPY (around $102 million). [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
According to the report, CyberAgent acquiring NItroplus as a subsidiary will have little impact on its finances for the September 2024 period. It's well within the costs that it revealed to investors back in November 2023.
For reference, Nitroplus is a company that creates contents for multiple mediums, including novels, games, and anime. Works from Nitroplus include Song of Saya, Touken Ranbu, Togainu no Chi, DRAMAtical Murder, and Steins;Gate. Some of these works, such as Togainu no Chi and Touken Ranbu, are in collaboration with other companies or are part of a separate branch than the main one.
Nitroplus will be allowed to maintain its work culture, as well as continue to release works in genres it's interested in. CyberAgent letting the workers do so is part of why Nitroplus accepted the offer. Another reason is because becoming a subsidiary of CyberAgent would let Nitroplus focus on content creation and production, and is better for the overall stability of the company's future.
As of June 26, 2024, Nitroplus has become a subsidiary of CyberAgent. Other subsidiaries include Sumzap, Cygames, and Abema.

Seven Seas Entertainment announced that it will release Rozen Maiden Collector's Edition, with pre-orders opening soon It'll be available in both physical and digital format.
The Collector's Edition of Rozen maiden will be in omnibus format, with each book having over 400 pages. There will be seven volumes in total of the Collector's Edition. The entire collection will have the seven volumes of the revised original series, as well all ten volumes of the sequel series.
People who have been on the Internet for a long time now probably know of Rozen Maiden, even if they never read the manga or watched the anime. This is due to the prevalence of Suiseiseki and her "desu" manner of speech on old Internet forums. As for Rozen Maiden itself, the anime and manga was very popular back during the early 2000s with its visual aesthetics and character design. Even after it faded in relevancy, it appeared in recent years during a SINoALICE event, for example.
In terms of the plot, Rozen Maiden follows the story of Jun Sakurada, who is a shut-in middle schooler due to his interest in designing dresses. Through happenstance, he meets Shinku, a living bisque doll who's a Rozen Maiden, and she explains to him the Alice game. It's a battle royale among all the Rozen Maidens to steal each other's core—their Rosa Mystica—so they can become "Alice" and thus earn the right to meet Rozen, their father.
Rozen Maiden Collector's Edition Volume 1 will come out in English in January 2025. It'll cost $25.99. As mentioned earlier, you can also get it as a digital ebook.

In a surprise reveal, Schwartz from Tales of Legendia will appear as the final playable character in Tales of the Rays. The announcement Tweet implied that Grune will also have a special role.
You'll be able to get her from an event that'll start from June 30, 2024. It's unclear if players will be able to get Schwartz for free or if she'll appear in the gacha. The Tweet also included a letter from the producer. In the letter, he confirms that Schwartz is the final playable character for Tales of the Rays. He and the team hope that players can enjoy their final surprise with a positive mindset.
The producer also gave an explanation as to why Schwartz is appearing so close to the game's end of service (on July 23, 2024). Originally, Schwartz wasn't going to be playable. But the team wanted to surprise players before the game ended. There wasn't much time left and Schwartz was the character who was closest to becoming playable (in terms of development), so they chose to release her. Though they'd wanted to do something Legendia-based since it's summer, as well as give Grune something special, they only had the time and resources to make Schwartz playable.
Schwartz was the final boss of Tales of Legendia. She also appeared as a hidden playable character in Tales of the Heroes: Twin Brave. Replies to the announcement thank the team for their hard work, as well as state that they'd been waiting for Schwartz's appearance in the game.
Tales of the Rays is available on mobile devices and Schwartz will appear as a playable character from June 30, 2024. The game will end on July 23, 2024 and offline mode will be available from that date as well.

HIDIVE has announced that the English versioin of Oshi no Ko season 2 will appear on its platform on July 3, 2024. You'll be able to start watching it from 8:00 AM PDT/11:00 AM EDT.
This is the same date that the second season will start airing in Japan. So you'll be able to watch it right when it broadcasts for the originating country as well. Granted, we always knew that HIDIVE would be releasing the second season in English. It confirmed back in March 2024 that it would do so, along with the key visual of everyone preparing for the Tokyo Blade stage play.
Those with even a passing interest in Japanese media probably knew of Oshi no Ko, between its recognizable character designs and memorable opening song. "Idol" by Yoasobi was everywhere, breaking streaming records on Oricon and racking up millions of views no matter the language.
The story of Oshi no Ko follows Aqua and Ruby, the twin children of top idol Hoshino Ai. In reality, they are the reincarnations of people who'd been fans of Ai until their untimely deaths. After a mysterious culprit kills Ai, the two of them enter the entertainment industry in order to investigate.
Oshi no Ko is available for streaming via HIDIVE and season 2 will start airing from July 3, 2024.

A new text-based gaiden scenario for Mobile Fighter G Gundam will start serialization from July 5, 2024. This is part of the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of the show. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
News of this came out during the Gundam Conference Summer 2024, which took place on June 25, 2024. The name of the gaiden will be Mobile Fighter G Gundam: Tenchi Tengaku. Bandai Namco may or may not reveal an official English name for it later. There is also a new key visual showing Domon and Master Asia fighting side-by-side while what appears to be a new villain smirks down at them.
As for the plot of the gaiden, it'll focus on the appearance of the Dark Shuffle, a group of five mysterious Gundams, who show up right before the finals of the 13th Gundam Fight. For reference, the the 13th Gundam Fight is the Gundam Fight Domon and his friends participate in during the show. Yasuhiro Imagawa, who was the director for Mobile Suit G Gundam, is the one who'll be penning this work.
Mobile Suit G Gundam aired from 1994 to 1995. It takes place in the Future Century. In this timeline, most humans have escaped for space colonies, though these space colonies are still separated by nationality. Every four years, this is a Gundam Fight in which representatives will fight until only one pilot is left standing. The winner's country can then rule the world for the next four years. It is one of the zanier Gundam shows in the series.
Mobile Fighter G Gundam is available for streaming on Crunchyroll. The text-based gaiden for Mobile Fighter G Gundam will come out on the G Gundam website from July 5, 2024.
