Sanrio has started selling an official art book of Cinnamoroll, one of its most popular mascots. You can purchase the art book at Parco.
The art book costs 1980 JPY ($14) and contains 112 pages. It starts with a description of how Cinnamoroll came to be, as well as his rise to fame. Then, there are a few pages dedicated to his and his friends' profiles. After around thirty pages of touring around Sucre Town, where Cinnamoroll lives, the book will show off all the different pieces of art that Cinnamoroll starred in over the years.
Sanrio debuted Cinnamoroll in 2001. It is a white puppy-like creature that lives in Cafe Cinnamon after falling from the sky. People really like him, as he won the popularity poll five times in a row (as of 2024. As a result, appears in a lot of merchandise and crossovers.
Life wasn't always so great for Cinnamoroll though. He was popular enough during his debut, but he wasn't winning any popularity polls. Things changed around March 2015 when Internet users started attacking and bullying Cinnamoroll's account on Twitter. Every time Cinnamoroll posted something, bullies would reply with comments basically telling him to go die.
Normal fans, even if they weren't the biggest Cinnamoroll stans prior, jumped to the mascot's defense or would comfort him in the replies. Things got so bad that Chiffon, Cinnamoroll's friend, stepped in front of him during his daily Tweets to protect him. Cinnamoroll grew popular as a result of this incident, either through sympathy or because people realized that he's got a really cute design.
The Cinnamoroll art book is available at Parco.

A pop-up shop featuring a Sanrio collaboration with the Monogatari series will appear in Japan from September 27, 2024. You'll be able to get merchandise of Mayoi, Shinobu, and Yotsugi. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
The pop-up shop will appear in Osaka from September 27 to October 16, 2024. You can check it out at Umeda Loft. Then, from October 19 to October 27, 2024, it'll appear in Tokyo's Ueno Marui. As for the character-mascot pairings, Mayoi is with Keroppi, Shinobu is with Pompompurin, and Yotsugi is with Cinnamoroll.
Here are the merchandise and prices available for the Monogatari and Sanrio collaboration:
For every 3000 JPY you purchase in one transaction, you can get either a sticker or a photo card. There are six variations for each type, and you won't be able to choose which one you get.
The Monogatari series consists of multiple light novels by Nisio Isin, centering around high schooler and former vampire Koyomi Araragi. Due to his experience with supernatural incidents and oddities, as well as the connections he formed when dealing with his own issues, he often helps the girls around him with their oddity-related problems. The most recent anime adaptations covered the Off Season and Monster Season, and you can watch the latest season on Crunchyroll.
The Monogatari and Sanrio pop-up store will appear in Japan from September 27, 2024.

The official Steins;Gate account seems to be teasing an upcoming crossover with the Monogatari series. More information on it will come out in the near future.
The Tweet in question reads like Okabe is saying it, saying that the operation is going well. Then, the speaker reacts with shock at some emojis. After they recover, they say that this is yet another choice of Steins Gate and then end the message with El Psy Kongroo, which is the customary way Okabe ends his phone calls.
The emojis in the Tweet are a crab, a snail, a monkey, a snake, a cat, a flower, and then two vampires. These emojis in this order seem to be a reference to the Monogatari series of light novels. In Monogatari, main character Koyomi Araragi helps the girls he encounters in school or around town with problems that have to do with supernatural oddities. In Hitagi Crab, he helps his classmate and future girlfriend Hitagi Senjogahara with a crab that stole her weight. Then, in Mayoi Mai Mai (Snail), he helps a lost girl named Mayoi Hachikuji return home. And so on and so forth.
More information on what Steins;Gate has in store with Monogatari will appear in the future. Steins;Gate is readily available on the PS4, Windows PC, and mobile devices. You can watch the anime adaptation on Crunchyroll.

The Evangelion Crossing Expo will appear in Tokyo from September 13 to October 22, 2024. It'll cost 2000 JPY ($14.10) for a ticket and you can check it out at the Roppongi Museum. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
The exhibition started in Tokyo but Khara didn't return to the city for about two years. The Crossing Expo exhibition contains over 4000 pieces of Evangelion merchandise from past projects, displays, and more. There will also be little description placards for each one, which will focus on the history and charm of the franchise. Items range from figures of characters and replicas of weapons all the way to pachinko machines.
Outside of checking out the items on display, you can also buy merchandise or use the Evangelion Unit-01 AR view. This will display a Unit-01 looking down from the roof of the museum. The machine will stand at over 25 meters tall, so you can pretend that a giant robot really showed up.
Neon Genesis Evangelion is a highly popular and influential anime that came out in 1995. Since then, Rebuild of Evangelion came out to rewrite certain plot endings, as well as provide a new ending. The promotional art for Evangelion Crossing Expo includes Mari, meaning that it's in the Rebuild universe. But considering how long the original Evangelion's been around, it's highly likely that some of the items in the exhibition are from the pre-Rebuild era.
The Evangelion Crossing Expo exhibition will be in Tokyo from September 13 - October 22, 2024.

Yoshihiro Togashi, the mangaka of Hunter x Hunter and Yu Yu Hakusho, shared a picture he drew of Sailor Jupiter to honor the passing of Emi Shinohara. Emi Shinohara was the original voice actress for Sailor Jupiter/Kino Makoto in Sailor Moon.
The picture Togashi drew depicts Sailor Jupiter in her civilian persona of Kino Makoto. He didn't include any text in his Tweet. It seems that he drew the picture while working on manga, as you can see lined art above the portrait. Many replies comment on how beautiful Makoto is in Togashi's art style, as well as how lovely the tribute is. Some users also comment on Naoko Takeuchi, the mangaka and creator of Sailor Moon, as she is also Togashi's wife.
Emi Shinohara passed away on September 8, 2024 at the age of 61 years old. The cause of death was an unspecified disease. She was best known for her work as Sailor Jupiter in the original Sailor Moon anime. Other prominent roles included Kushina Uzumaki in Naruto: Shippuden, Kaho Mizuki in Cardcaptor Sakura, and Agarate in Tales of Rebirth. She was also a tokusatsu actress, dub voice actress, and singer.
Volume 38 of Hunter x Hunter came out in Japan very recently, debuting on September 4, 2024. A new chapter of the manga will appear on October 7, 2024.

Flappy Bird (the official version of the game) will return to Android and iOS devices in 2025. Though this is the original version of the game that came out all those years ago, a different publisher will be putting it into the app store. [Thanks, DiscussingFilm!]
The Flappy Bird Foundation Group purchased the trademark and rights to Flappy Bird from the original developer and it'll be putting it back into the app store. There's some more information regarding the revival of this viral game on its website. For instance, there will be new characters to unlock, as well as new game modes to try.
You can watch the trailer for the returning Flappy Bird here:
Dong Nguyen released Flappy Bird in 2013 as a casual mobile side-scroller. In the game, you play as a bird that you have to tap to keep in the air. The goal is to fly for as long as possible without hitting any of the green pipes protruding from the ground or ceiling. It was one of the most downloaded games at the time and Nguyen said that it was earning him $50,000 a day. The game was addictive to the point that Nguyen removed it from the App Store and Google Play out of guilt. There have been many clones of the game since then, though none ever reached the heights of popularity that the original Flappy Bird enjoyed.
Flappy Bird will return to mobile devices some time in 2025. More information on the exact release window will appear in the future.

The World of Warcraft 20th Anniversary Celebration brings with it a sizable content update for players to explore and experience. Among the many additions and changes coming to the game in the near future is the expansion of classes available to the Dracthyr race. Added to World of Warcraft in its Dragonflight expansion, the Dracthyr initially only had access to their unique Evoker class. The 20th Anniversary Celebration will change that, giving players who want to play Dracthyr a broader selection of classes to choose from. The list of new classes Dracthyr will be able to choose from are as follows:
There won't be any special requirements to unlocking these for the Dracthyr. Accessing them will be as simple as creating a new character, selecting the Dracthyr race, and choosing whichever class you prefer.
You might be wondering how your Dracthyr forms will operate when playing these classes. With the exception of the Evoker class, which will still force you into your Dracthyr form in combat, the new playable classes will allow you to remain in whichever form you're currently using. If you still enjoy the idea of switching into Dracthyr form when entering combat, the "Chosen Identity" ability will automatically swap between the two forms for you. As mentioned before, you won't be able to play these classes as a Dracthyr until the 20th Anniversary Celebration update drops.
If you'd like to learn more about what to expect from World of Warcraft's 20th Anniversary, check out World of Warcraft 20th Anniversary In-Game Events Detailed. You can also learn more information about World of Warcraft's newest seasonal content here.
