Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Sunday, March 30, 2025 6:00 AM ![]() Sundays are for nursing a sore throat into nearly its third week of activity. I wish I wasn't such a tiny widdle baby, but I strongly feel that no person has ever suffered as I now suffer. Let's do some links. Edge Magazine has launched an industry newsletter, called Knowledge. You can signup here. Edge has long been a stealth B2B product, so an explicitly B2B newsletter makes sense. This is also promising because it's being written by Marie Dealessandri, former deputy editor of GI.biz. |

Schedule 1 is a different type of fun when you're playing with friends, but there are certain limitations regarding crossplay support.
The new release has surprised the gaming world, and it's available on Steam in early access. Unfortunately, Schedule 1 is limited in accessibility, preventing console players from enjoying the content. It's the same reason we don't have crossplay in the game now, as PC players face no platform-based restrictions when playing in the same lobby.
Is Schedule 1 cross-platform
Again, Schedule 1 is exclusively available on PC only and will likely remain so until early access is over. This pattern is followed by indies and AAA titles like Baldur's Gate 3. Games tend to get console launches only after completing early access on PC.
![]()
Whether Schedule 1 will eventually arrive on Xbox and PlayStation consoles remains to be seen. There hasn't been any information about future console releases as of writing. You'll also face problems if you're trying to load the game on a Mac. There's no native support for Apple's devices; the only alternative is using a Virtual Machine (although they're highly unoptimized).
Will Schedule 1 have crossplay?
The answer will depend on whether we get a console release in the future. If the game remains available only on PC, the question of crossplay becomes redundant. If Schedule 1 gets a console release, we will have crossplay support. But that's just my prediction, and there's no official news at the moment.
If you're on PC, you can play with up to three other people in the same lobby. As I said, playing with your friends allows you to have a different type of experience, as you'll rely less on the dealers, and make decisions that are not possible playing solo.
Make sure to check out our detailed multiplayer guide to find out all about how to play together with your buddies.

Suppliers are the foundations of your business in Schedule 1, as they provide you with the essential ingredients required to produce different items.
The options increase as you level up and unlock new parts of the map. However, there are certain extra requirements for getting access to the new suppliers. This guide includes detailed information about all three options and what types of products they offer.
Table of contents
How many suppliers are there in Schedule 1?
The game at launch has three options available for the players.
How to unlock Albert Hoover in Schedule 1?
![]()
Albert Hoover is the only supplier that doesn't require any unlocking, as he's available by default. The King of Weed is your first supplier in Schedule 1, and he has four types of Marijuana seeds to offer. While OG Kush is available initially, you can unlock more variants by levelling up inside the game.
His stash is located behind Dan's Hardware store, and he will require prompt repayment after your debt exceeds $300.
How to unlock Shirley Watts in Schedule 1?
![]()
Shirley Watts gets unlocked relatively early, as she's available in Westville (the second region of the map). She's your reliable provider of Pseudo, which is the base material for producing Meth. The low quality variant comes with Shirley, but you can unlock two finer variants as you level up.
To gain access to Shirley, you'll need to achieve friendly status with either/both Jerry Montero and Meg Cooley. To repay her debts, you can find the stash at Warehouse.
How to unlock Salvador Moreno in Schedule 1?
![]()
Salvador Moreno is the third and final supplier to unlock, and it will take a fair bit of time and in-game grind. He's available in the Docks region, the fourth part of the map. To unlock Salvador, you'll have to reach friendly status with either/both Mac Cooper and Javier Perez. He's your go-to guy for producing Cocaine, supplying you with Coca seeds.
Unlike Weed/Meth, Coca seeds are available in only one variant, but you can dry the leaves to turn them into finer products. To repay Salvador, you'll find his stash behind the Church, located on the map's outskirts.
