Konami is planning to release new entries and remakes for some of its largest franchises, which include Castlevania and Metal Gear Solid, according to a new report.
According to publishing sources speaking anonymously with VGC, Konami is working to bring the franchises back after a few years of languishing on the back burner.
The first one coming out of the gate is said to be a Castlevania game. Currently in development internally at Konami, it is a reimagining of the series and will receive support from local external studios.
Easily the two most iconic positions in football are the midfield general and inspirational number 10. There's so much diversity in the middle of the pitch that it can be tough to find the right balance, so here are the best CAMs, CDMs, and CMs in FIFA 22.
A good defensive midfielder is a vital part of your back line, shielding less mobile defenders and setting up counterattacks.
While at the other end of the park, the best attacking midfielders exploit the spaces left by an opponent's formation, pulling the opposition into difficult areas to create chances for their teammates.
After teasing the game for some time, Sega has revealed its new mobile RPG, Sin Chronicle – a game based on player decisions that can only ever be made once.
Today, I'd like to tell you more about Sherlock Holmes Chapter One, our newest game that tells the story of Sherlock Holmes before he becomes the world's most famous detective. SNK used Tokyo Game Show as the perfect stage to debut the next two fighters for next year's King of Fighters XV. Newcomer Isla and returning combatant K' join the roster of 39 fighters vying to see who's the best in the world.
As previously mentioned, Isla is a graffiti artist that is brand-new to the world of King of Fighters. She's clearly too-cool-for-school by spending half of the time fighting with her hands in her jacket pockets, letting her kicks do the talking. Sure, she busts out the fists when necessary but Isla also settles for conjuring floating hands to attack opponents up close and from afar. Yes, that means she can quite literally throw hands. Watch Isla in action in the gameplay trailer below.
Meanwhile, K' (actually pronounced "Kay Dash") is a fighter dating all the way back to King of Fighters '99. He's an augmented human spliced with genes from KOF's main character, Kyo Kusanagi. Thus, he serves as a darker version of the series' poster boy and has the power to manipulate fire. He's also kind of a jerk. Watch him set his opponents ablaze in the trailer below.
If you're a Bandai Namco fan, it's time to start saying your goodbyes to the red, orange, and yellow logo that has graced titles such as Scarlet Nexus, Tales of Arise, Little Nightmares II, and countless other hits. The company has unveiled a new corporate logo alongside a new mission statement: Fun for All Into the Future.
The new logo adopts a more, shall we say, minimalist philosophy. The company's name is penned in a simple black font situated within a thick magenta border shaped like a speech bubble. According to a press release announcing the change, the speech bubble specifically signifies the brand's potential to connect with its audience while also tipping a cap to manga culture. Bandai Namco states that while the old logo represented the fusion of Bandai and Namco, the new one better fits the spirit of their new purpose.
That purpose being the Fun for All into the Future mission statement. What does that mean? The publisher explains that it embodies its goal "to share dreams, fun and inspiration with people around the world. Connecting people and societies in the enjoyment of uniquely entertaining products and services, we're working to create a brighter future for everyone."
You still have a few more months to enjoy the soon-to-be defunct logo. Bandai Namco states the new logo won't go into effect until April 2022.
So what do you think of the new logo? Share your graphic design-related hot takes down in the comments!

October: it's the best month. It's Halloween, it's the start of Autumn proper, it's the month where we get a new Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct, and it's my birthday the start of Scorpio season, which is objectively the best star sign.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a great place to celebrate the season, because it has growable pumpkins, plenty of spooky-themed decor items, and a general cottagecore vibe that players just can't get enough of. Plus, there are new Halloweeny items available today!
From the team who brought Aviary Attorney to the Switch.

Hang on — where did September go? Yep, that's right, another month has flown by and it's time to get stuck into the really juicy months of the year. Early in October we've got the heavy hitters of a new Metroid game and new Switch hardware, which would be more than enough to keep us occupied in the summer months, but there's a whole lot more to look forward to over the next few months, including new-old Pokémon.
Below we've listed some of the upcoming highlights of big Switch games scheduled for October and November. Beneath those physical launches you'll also find a selection of other games releasing from September — usually physical versions of previously digital-only Switch eShop games — plus a selection of Switch accessories and related peripherals available in the coming months.

At the Tokyo Game Show yesterday, Bethesda's creative director Todd Howard told an audience that upcoming space-faring RPG Starfield will have more than 150,000 lines of dialogue. If that sounds like a lot, that's because it is. In response to the announcement, some developers at other AAA studios expressed shock at…
Whenever I think about theStranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins E3 trailer, the lasting impression of the game isn't the fact that it is a Final Fantasy game or even its admittedly cool combat. No, the only thing that comes to mind is how the protagonist just really wants to kill chaos. But after seeing the…
Yesterday, Twitch announced it will test a new feature that allows streamers and their audiences to pay for heightened visibility. Currently, only a select number of accounts participating in Twitch's research initiative have access to the feature. Despite this, streamers are, unsurprisingly, not very happy about this…
Amazon's colonialist resource extraction MMO, New World, is currently the hottest new game on Steam, quite literally in some instances. More than a few players are reporting loud fans and high graphics card temperatures while running the game, and occasionally even just while queueing for it. And then there are the…
A new online tool has launched today that provides detailed accessibility information on a growing list of modern games. The Accessible Games Database, created by games accessibility platform DAGERSystem, allows users to select the accessibility options they need and then view a list of games that include those features.
Currently, the Accessible Games Database includes information on 141 games, and includes filters for more than 70 accessibility features. There are additional filters to narrow down the list to show only games from specific publishers or in specific genres, and you can select ESRB ratings as well.
Say you want an open-world game that includes screen filters for deuteranopia, a form of red-green colourblindness. You'd add those filters to the list on the left side of the Accessible Games Database landing page, and you'd see that both Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Cyberpunk 2077 fit the bill. Maybe you want an RTS game that lets you pause the gameplay and enable subtitles - the database will tell you that Halo Wars, Halo Wars 2, and Pikmin 3 Deluxe include all of those features.
Xûr is Destiny 2's Exotic gear merchant. He appears every weekend to sell the game's most coveted items in exchange for Legendary shards, but if you're a casual player with limited shards to spend, it can be hard to know which of his wares is most worth your investment. That's where we come in.
As of June 12, 2020, it appears that Xûr is back to providing random rolls - so the Exotic merchant is providing more excitement than he has in a long time. Xûr appears every Friday at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST, and will stick around until the Tuesday reset. We'll update this guide shortly after he arrives, so if you're reading this, you need only read on to learn where he is, and which are the best items he's selling this week.
Now we're in Beyond Light territory, but Xûr's first appearances have been at the usual spots - so maybe don't expect too many surprises from the merchant in the new year of Destiny content.
eFootball 2022 is now the worst-reviewed game on Steam. Worse than the XIII remake. Worse than those hentai games. The launch has been a disaster, and all players have been able to talk about is the volume of absurd bugs and glitches they've run into. (Hey, at least it's free, right?) Now Konami says "we are very sorry for the problems", and promises a series of updates and improvements to come.
"After the release of eFootball 2022," Konami says in a tweet, "we have received lots of feedback and requests regarding game balance that includes pass speed and defence operation. We would also like to acknowledge that there have been reports of problems users have experienced with cutscenes, facial expressions, movements of players, and the behaviour of the ball."
The devs are working on an update for October, "while receiving further opinions through questionnaires to our users". The team promises that the game "will be continuously updated", with "consistent" new content and improvements to quality.
Want to know where to find New World gems? When it comes to creating the best New World PvP builds or PvE builds, gems can boost your stats and make that build even stronger. For example, gems such as the carnelian are great for tank builds, while fire staff builds benefit significantly from an equipped ruby.
But finding them in the first place? That's the tricky bit. They don't turn up reliably - instead, New World gems occasionally appear as rare drops whenever you mine certain minerals in the world. Fortunately, there are ways to boost your chance to find gems, but without these luck-enhancing items, your search may well be fruitless. Thankfully, so long as you're prepared to go into expeditions, there is a different way to get New World gems.
This guide will explain where to find New World gems and what items you need to equip to increase your chances of finding them. We'll also go through how to refine gemstones and what each gem does when you equip them for your loadout.
While the perfect way to play the best PC games is on a full-sized desktop, sometimes size constraints or a nomadic lifestyle make a gaming laptop a great alternative, ensuring you get PC gaming quality wherever you go.
However, choosing the perfect gaming laptop takes a lot of commitment. When you build a gaming PC you can swap out parts later if you want an upgrade. Because laptops often feature bespoke components and aren't designed to be tinkered with, it isn't as simple as picking out the best graphics card and best gaming CPU to suit your personal needs. Not only is there less customisation, but you have to look at other laptop-exclusive requirements, such as battery life, screen size, resolution, build quality, and aftermarket care.
With the recent arrival of Nvidia's mobile RTX 30 series cards and AMD's new mobile CPUs and GPUs, the latest gaming laptops are becoming just as good, if not better than the best gaming PC builds. We've come up with our picks for the best laptop for gaming in 2021, whether you're wanting to play triple-a blockbusters like Watch Dogs: Legion, or just want a laptop that can crank up the frames in Fortnite.
